Food Grade Lubricants - Rotork approves ORCON GEAR 220
26. 07. 2011 - For the first time the food grade gear oil PANOLIN ORCON GEAR 220 has been approved for Rotork underwater actuators in the sector of drinking water.
PANOLIN ORCON GEAR 220, an industrial food grade gear oil, is successfully used in underwater actuators in the drinking water sector. The actuators manufactured by Rotork Fluid Systems in Italy will be put into operation in the Upper Chiquita Reservoir. This project is lead by the Santa Margarita Water District (SMWD) and is located in the western part of the Chiquita Canyon. The reservoir is the first large-scale emergency water reservoir since several decades and will be newly built in Orange County (California USA).
